Weezer - Buddy Holly 8 Bit
I created this Weezer - Buddy Holly sample in a couple hours today.
I have always been fascinated by 8 bit music, but I never really spent much time learning about it. I recently discovered a music programming language MML which stands for Music Macro Language.
This allows you to write music in code and then compile it as an NSF file, NES Sound Format. This is the audio file format that was used by Nintendo for NES audio.
There are a bunch of tools available to assist you in creating these files, but since I’m a programmer writing out raw MML files seems to make sense.
